Sharing good practice and encouraging excellent a cappella singing

Working with other groups is one of The Songmen's favourite activities and they see education as a very important part of their vocation whether that's leading masterclasses at a school, running workshops for a choral society, or judging competitions.

Half of the Songmen are qualified teachers and all havel worked with children and adults in advisory capacities.

This Year

This year they are leading masterclasses and workshops at Bedford Modern Junior School, Oundle School in Peterborough and Tewkesbury School in Gloucestershire where they will be coaching young singers and a cappella groups.

Learning Ourselves

The Songmen are also occassionaly 'on the other end of training' and make a pilgrimage once every two years to Luebeck in Germany where they work with the world famous King's Singers on performance and vocal issues and where they share good practice to ensure that they remain at the top of our game.

If you would like to book the Songmen to work in an educational capacity with your school choir, choral society, or consort group please get in touch here.

Please note - all of The Songmen are fully CRB checked.

Voces Cantablles Music

We are very pleased to also work on educational projects with Voces Cantabiles Music a charitable organisation that aims to bring a fresh approach to choral singing.
